Obituary in Fort Worth, Mason and Glen Rose newspapers

AUSTIN-- EDITH DORINE SCOTT, 87, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, formerly of Glen Rose, TX, born in Mason, passed away on Thursday, the 2nd of October 2008. She passed peacefully to join her beloved husband John Scott both awaiting the Kingdom of God.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Squaw Creek Cemetery in Rainbow, Texas. Viewing will be from noon Saturday until service time Sunday, at the funeral home. Joe Banta will deliver her eulogy. The family requests that flowers be sent to the Wiley Funeral Home in her honor.
An additional service will be held in her memory on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m., the 6th of October 2008, at the Christadelphian Church at 600-c Leander Dr., Leander, TX 78641.
Edith was an amazing woman who cherished her faith in God with the Christadelphian Church, her love for her children, grandchildren, music, gardening and all of god's creatures. Survivors: Edith leaves with the cherished memories of her children John Randolph Scott, Prentiss Wayne Scott, Miriam Gail Wilhoit, grandsons Jeffery Scott, Russell Scott, Sarah Scott-Lambert, Kelly Scott, Kimberly Smart, Jared Terrell, John Wilhoit, Benjamin Wilhoit, Christopher Scott, and her great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also survived by her sister Sharon Cooper.
