The End came peacefully

Mother passed away at 8:30pm tonight. The hospital did a great job in helping us to get family together with privacy. We had a spiritual farewell to a woman we all loved and respected. After we all said our goodbyes, talked and shared life together. There was music to establish a solemn mood that was interspersed with celebration, for we all have a positive view of her future. Death is, after all, a part of life. She was leaving us for something better. As the room became quiet, with some of us leaving for home and others going to get a bite to eat, she decided it was time to leave. She picked precisely the time that was right. It was just like her to calculate her departure. We should say how she left was unusual. Sarah reported a spiritual experience that coincided precisely with her departure. I will not go further into that tonight.

Mother is deeply loved by her family and her spiritual friends. We will miss her.
