Social Security Cards

Mother had two cards - one issued in 1943 which looks a lot different than the one today and the newer one that resembles all of ours.

This is not exactly like ours today. The style has changed somewhat.

1943 Tax Return

I was going through some more papers and came across a tax return of mothers - 1943. She has kept these all her life, attached together by an old rusty paper clip, which left its mark on the papers. Click on image to see full detail. This is page 1.
