Monday night 09-30-08

She had to be put back on to the ventilator. Her blood oxygen took a dive about 5PM. They have not resumed the general sedative. She is on morphone for events such as baths. She was uncomfortable and restless in the night. This is a setback. A decision will likely be required today whether to do a tracheostomy or not. I am leaning that way pending what the doctor has to say.
