Visitors
Please let me know who visits my mom. Russ was there this morning. She was sleeping. He talked to the staff also. Chepa and I still plan to go this afternoon. Beth told me she would be able to go up there this weekend and care for her if we need her. She has done this for several people before and she is such a sweet caring person. I may ask her to go. Also Reed and Suan will be in the neighborhood this weekend and hopes to visit her.

Granny seems to still be pretty dehydrated. They just hooked up an IV bag that should empty within 2 hours. I spoke with the Kidney doctor and he said that we will still need to wait 48 hrs to see what happens with her kidney's. For lunch, Aunt Gail, Mom, Kelly, my girlfriend Shilla and I are here. Granny was fully alert and showing lots life. She cannot yet speak and she is super weak. She does not yet move her head. She was able to drink very roughly through a straw and down two pills. More updates later.
It's Wonderful to hear Granny is doing better!! Let us know when she can talk and take phone calls.

Dad, Chepa, myself and my girlfriend went and visited Granny tonight. She was asleep when we arrived. After she woke up she was the most alert that we have seen her. She tried to talk a lot more than before. We were able to understand a little less than 50% of what she said. She is still very weak. She was smiling a lot tonight. I have to say it was very good to her this way and was glad that she was able to spend time with Dad and Chepa since they drove in from Houston. I did take some video and emailed to Dad. I hope he can post it on the site as well.
I hope to buy a stuffed dog so that visitors can sign it as we don't have any way of knowing who comes when and we are not sure everyone will post on the blog.
We did find out tonight that Granny is scheduled to move out of ICU and get a room. This may happen tonight or tomorrow. Dad will post what the new location is as soon as we hear.
