- Amiodaron - to control heart speed and especially to prevent another episode of fibrillation. Link is to Drugs.com. I was told by the Cardiologist that this drug could have long term effects but for the moment, it is helping her to recover. It is "peripheral vasoconstrictor (alpha-adrenergic action) and as an inotropic stimulator of the heart and dilator of coronary arteries".
- Levofed - to maintain and raise her blood pressure. This is an arterial constrictive drug. Link is to Drugs.com.
